What is ISO 22301?

ISO 22301 is the international standard for business continuity management systems (BCMS) — a structured framework for preparing an organization to keep critical operations running, or recover them quickly, when disruption hits, whether that’s a natural event, a cyberattack, or a major supplier failure. Disruptions are, by definition, unpredictable — what separates organizations that recover quickly from those that don’t is whether continuity planning happened before the disruption, not during it.

Organizations building this resilience need people who can design a BCMS that actually works under pressure, not just one that reads well on paper. This course builds that competency directly: you learn how to run a business impact analysis, design continuity strategies and plans, manage incident and emergency response, and prepare an organization for third-party certification audit — the same practical skills employers expect from someone responsible for business continuity.
